What It Is

GameChange UBI runs on smart phones — Android and iOS — entirely over Bluetooth. No cell signal nor internet necessary. No bank account required. You could call it a coin, a credit, whatever. It's a universal medium of exchange. It's an alternative to money. Anyone with the app on their phone can claim UBI and exchange with nearby devices which also have the app. It's designed to be like physical cash - you can only transact within a few meters of another device.

This is liquidity outside of historic market systems of domination. For most people on Earth the experience of money is doing your monkey dance for money and then watching it simply fly out of your hands. Currently in the West, money is privately owned and has been for awhile. GameChange UBI is real "De-Fi". De-Fi is a buzz phrase that means 'Decentralized Finance' which is just a fintech movement to replace the centuries-old Western banking cartels with their own cartels. Now the legacy banking insitituions see the value of volatile crypto assets by virtue of the critical mass of adoption. GameChange UBI is the antithesis of cryptocurrency. No mining. No speculation. No global ledger. Pure liquidity. A distributed ledger. A stable medium.

This is not an investment. Units of UBI cannot be bought or sold for dollars or any currency within the app. The credits themselves are minted by your UBI claim. In this way it is your responsibility to not overspend nor overcharge to control for inflation. Greed already ruins a lot of things in this world and in this type of game your greed will ruin everything. You own your coin like you own your body, your words, like you own your action.

Why It Matters

We are approaching a system of capital-owned automated economy. It's already begun. As labor becomes increasingly automated, more people lose work, as the return value of work becomes less valuable to owners and workers alike then the means to acquire resources necessary to live in this society degrades. We're in a dangeroius feedback loop with the automation of labor, a smaller and smaller population doing most of the consumer spending, dramatic increases in the cost of living, irrelevance of Law, the increasing and broad impacts of climate change. Liquidity becomes the missing variable even as people continue to produce and consume in such a state. GameChange UBI provides it. It's a new economic substrate.

This will eventually require new rules, new ways of being - ultimately, a new social contract that is aligned with the virtue of personal liberty and goodwill toward others.

How It Works

The system operates as a secure, offline communication layer between devices, synchronizing transaction data via Bluetooth, based in mutual trust. GameChange UBI uses SHA-256 for both mutual authentication and session encryption. Each transaction includes a cryptographic handshake, a per-transaction nonce to prevent replay attacks, and an encrypted payload. No transaction data is ever transmitted in plaintext. It works in rural villages, refugee camps, disaster zones, Antarctica, probably the Moon, the desert, the jungle and any environment where traditional banking infrastructure is limited, inaccessible, expensive, or unreliable. Connect with another device, send and receive credits of UBI. A user gains greater access to their balance by transactional activity and attesting to others in their community. That's it.

I'm Christopher John Hutchins. Born and raised outside and inside of Austin, Texas, USA. And if you want to get specific I grew up in Maple Run and Shady Hollow. I am a father. I love this planet.
